ATLANTA HAWKS VS. DETROIT PISTONS – 10/24/2019 FREE PICK & NBA BETTING PREDICTION

Thursday, October 24 finds Eastern Conference rivals the Atlanta Hawks playing their first game of the 2019-20 season versus the Detroit Pistons in their home opener. Detroit is playing on the second night of a back to back series having played in Indiana on Tuesday in the Pacers home opener.

Atlanta Hawks

Detroit Pistons

The Pistons will only go as far as Blake Griffin can drag them. Last season his body wore down from having to do too much. Offseason surgery was required and he’ll begin this campaign sidelined due to a sore hamstring.

The last time the teams met Reggie Jackson had a big day registering 32 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists, and 2 steals.

The addition of Derrick Rose, Tony Snell and Markieff Morris this summer is hoped will help the Pistons to score more after last season when they ranked 21st.

Markieff Morris (lower back stiffness) and Reggie Jackson (lower back stiffness) are both expected to play. Sekou Doumbouya is out dealing with the after-effects of a concussion. Blake Griffin won’t be in the lineup until early November.
