WASHINGTON NATIONALS VS. HOUSTON ASTROS – 10/30/2019 FREE PICK & MLB BETTING PREDICTION

Washington Nationals

The World Series isn’t over after all. Stephen Strasburg pitched into the ninth inning; Anthony Rendon drove in five runs; and Washington lived to see Game 7 tonight with a 7–2 in Houston on Tuesday night.
Strasburg gave up two runs in the first and proceeded to throw seven-and-one-third scoreless from there. He struck out seven and walked two.
With the Nationals leading, 3–2, in the seventh, Anthony Rendon smashed a two-run insurance shot to make it 5–2. The score stayed that way until the ninth when the man they call “Tony Two-Bags” banged one off the right-field wall and made things completely stress-free for Strasburg, Sean Doolittle, and hundreds of thousands of Nationals fans in the bottom half.
Prior to the homer in the seventh, Nationals manager Dave Martinez was ejected arguing what was just another example within the game of baseball of the failure of greater modern society.
Trea Turner hit a bouncer that Brad Peacock had to hurry to field and threw down the right-field line. The Nats were set up with the one-run lead and men at second and third.
But the Astros challenged and it was determined that Turner was running inside the baseline. He wasn’t; at least he wasn’t in the mind of anybody who knows anything about baseball.
Martinez went cuckoo and got the heave-ho. Fortunately, his stoic superstar was waiting on deck. Rendon stepped up and grooved a low fastball way up and over the short porch in left.

Houston Astros

The Astros had all the momentum and were heavy favorites going into the game. Then they seized an early lead after Rendon drove in the first of his five with a single in the first.
George Springer doubled, went to third on a wild pitch, and came home on a sac fly from Jose Altuve. Alex Bregman homered a batter later to make it 2–1.
But Strasburg was more economical than Justin Verlander, who gave up the lead in the fifth and didn’t return for the sixth.
He served up two solo shorts to right, first to Adam “Spanky” Eaton and then to Juan Soto. Verlander walked three and struck out three in his 40th start of 2019. It was the only one in which he failed to strike out more batters than he walked.
Now the Nationals are where they wanted to be. And Max Scherzer is where he must have been praying to be just a few days ago when he was scratched before Game 5.

Free Washington Nationals vs. Houston Astros MLB Prediction: I’ve got the Nats.

I can’t help it. After how it all went down back in Washington, this is a potential storybook ending to Scherzer’s and the Nationals’ season. I just have to believe Mad Max makes the most of it.
